Do you know someone who is a citizen of the Métis Nation of Alberta, or are you a citizen yourself? If so, we have a great resource to share with you! The Metis Nation of Alberta and the Rupertsland Institute: Métis Centre of Excellence run the Gear Up For School (GUFS) program, providing FREE school supplies to Métis family children attending preschool, kindergarten, or grades 1 or 2. They will even deliver directly to your front door! To apply, complete the registration form on albertametis.com.
