My name is Julianne Siqueira, and I am a master's student at the University of Calgary in the music education program. I am conducting a research related to the teaching and learning of music to children who speak other language than English.
Right now, I am looking for participants who wish in participating in this research. There is a music studio in NW of Calgary that will offer 2 months of free piano lessons to children who attend the following requirements and want to participate in the research:
Children must be between 6 to 10 years old
These children must be newcomers immigrants who speak limited English
They must speak other language than English at home
Will be ideal that they have at least a keyboard piano at home in order to practice the music learnt at studio.
I am wondering if the Action Dignity organization could help me in finding these participants with the above requirements that wish to participate in this research.
