Mosaic Primary Care Network Launches Patient and Family Advisory Committee
Currently accepting submission for volunteers to join as Patient Advisors
Calgary, AB: Mosaic Primary Care Network (PCN) is launching a Patient and Family Advisory Committee (PFAC). The committee is currently looking for volunteers to submit their interest in becoming a Patient Advisor. The role of patient advisors is to be the voice of patients and families making a difference on the health services provided in your community.
Who can be a Patient Advisor?
Anyone who is a Mosaic Primary Care Network (PCN) patient, over the age of 18, and willing to volunteer for two hours per month. These monthly meetings will be hosted online with other members of the committee to help improve the safety and quality of care for all patients of Mosaic PCN! About Mosaic PCN: Mosaic PCN is a group of family doctors and healthcare professionals that provide primary health care, in partnership with Alberta Health Services. Mosaic PCN member clinics are located in northeast and southeast Calgary.
Mosaic PCN is a group of more than 300 family doctors. Our PCN serves more than 300,000 patients in the northeast and southeast of Calgary. Mosaic PCN's geography includes urban Calgary east of 14 St W, from the Bow River to the eastern city limits, and south of the northern city limits to Anderson Road/114 Ave SE. The population of this area is approximately 400,000 people.
