Youth Hiring Event

e Youth Employment Centre (YEC) is holding a Youth Hiring Event at the end of March.

Unlike previous years, this event is not a public event.

Youth must connect with the YEC by registering for a session with an employment counsellor to be pre-screened and pre-scheduled for interviews with employers.

There will be employers recruiting in a variety of industries including landscaping, recreation, warehousing, summer camps, retail, and home maintenance services (outdoor, home improvement).

These positions will include part-time, full-time, casual, and seasonal summer opportunities.

Many of these opportunities are labour positions that require youth to:

· Be at least 18+

· Have a driver’s license

· Have access to a reliable vehicle
